Norm Petersen Regatta
This regatta is for all boat types designed for open water rowing. The course starts at San Francisco's Aquatic Park, to the Oakland Bay Bridge (Beta Tower) and back.

The 15km course on San Francisco Bay is a round trip from Aquatic Park on the north waterfront to McCovey Cove, adjacent to the Giant’s Ballpark and back. The short course is to the Bravo Tower of the Oakland Bay Bridge and back. The Base of operations is the historic Dolphin Swimming and Boating Club boathouse at 502 Jefferson St, San Francisco, CA 94109. Open Water Rowing Center is the host for the annual Open Ocean Regatta, held every spring for over 40 years. There are three courses of varying length and water conditions for open water scullers in shells and traditional boats, both singles, doubles and quads. The most challenging course is the 7.6 nm Diablo Course (14 km). The Tom & Jerry Three Buoy Regatta- This is a 5 mile, open water (with the potential for some rough water) regatta. The regatta is named for the two South Enders, who came up with this course in 2012 to test one's navigational and rowing skills. The South End’s longest continually running regatta since 1978. The course, as the name implies, is a race from Aquatic Park to the Golden Gate Bridge, then to the Bay Bridge, and back to Aquatic Park. Epic and classic. Registration will be posted on RegattaCentral.
